This June, thirty of our Shallowford Youth will journey to Anchorage, Alaska, on a week-long mission trip that promises to change lives… both theirs and the people they serve.
During their time in Alaska, our youth will:
- Serve those experiencing homelessness and help feed the hungry
- Learn about the effects of colonialization on indigenous communities
- Explore God’s creation and reflect on how we can better care for it
- Strengthen the bond between Shallowford and First Presbyterian Church of Anchorage
