Strengthening Worship Through Technology
August 2026 Update —
As work continues through the Ripple Effects Capital Campaign, exciting upgrades are underway in the Sanctuary! A brand-new sound system is being installed, bringing significant improvements to both the in-person worship experience and our online ministry.
In addition to enhanced audio, Shallowford is receiving new (and additional!) livestream cameras that will deliver higher-quality video, complete with shock mounts for smoother, more stable images. The project also includes new hearing assistance equipment for Sunday worship, allowing more members and guests to fully participate in the service. Behind the scenes, all new wiring is being installed, and the new Front of House (FOH) sound booth is being relocated to the front left side of the balcony.
Together, these upgrades will strengthen our ability to share the message of Christ both inside the Sanctuary and beyond its walls for years to come. We are deeply grateful for the faithful generosity of everyone who has supported the Ripple Effects Capital Campaign and made these lasting investments in our ministry possible.
As this new system is installed, our livestream will be temporarily unavailable. We anticipate being back online by mid-August once installation, inspections, and testing are complete. We are grateful for the patience and grace of our online worshipping community during this transition and look forward to welcoming you back with an enhanced worship experience and a renewed, higher-quality livestream.
