About the Mission Trip
This June, thirty of our Shallowford Youth will journey to Anchorage, Alaska, on a week-long mission trip that promises to change lives… both theirs and the people they serve. During their time in Alaska, our youth will serve those experiencing homelessness and help feed the hungry; learn about the effects of colonialization on indigenous communities; explore God’s creation and reflect on how we can better care for it; and strengthen the bond between Shallowford and First Presbyterian Church of Anchorage
