More Room to Serve
August 2026 Update —
Exciting progress is underway as part of our Ripple Effects Capital Campaign! Renovations to Shallowford’s Food Pantry are creating a larger, more functional space that will allow us to better serve our community for years to come.
To make this expansion possible, the church’s reception desk was relocated, allowing the Food Pantry to grow into the former office space. The expanded footprint includes a new entry and workroom, giving our Food Pantry directors and volunteers the space they need to organize donations, prepare grocery bags, and welcome guests more efficiently. With increased storage capacity, the pantry will be able to house more food than ever before, helping us provide groceries to even more hungry neighbors.
New shelving throughout the space will maximize storage while making it easier to organize inventory and keep the pantry clean. A new center worktable will provide volunteers with a dedicated area to sort donations and pre-pack grocery bags.
Every improvement is designed with one purpose in mind: expanding our ability to share Christ’s love through hospitality and care. We are deeply grateful to everyone whose faithful generosity to the Ripple Effects Capital Campaign is making this transformation possible.
