Join us for worship throughout the season of Lent, a forty-day journey and chance to recommit our faith and prepare for the joy of Jesus’ resurrection. At Shallowford this year, it is a season for letting go. Our theme, ReLENT, reminds us that we can use these six weeks to release into God’s hands some of the burdens that complicate our lives and compromise our faith. In worship we explore what it is like to let go of control, shame, idols, judgment, pride, and doubt, and to embrace the freedom of Christ. All are welcome!
What’s a ceilidh? Pronounced “kay-lee,” it’s a social gathering with traditional Scottish music and dancing — at Shallowford, our ceilidh will raise significant funds to support Chapel Choir’s 2016 Scotland tour. The whole event will include a silent auction, a live auction, games, food and dancing. We’ll also have Scottish folk dancers there to help us cut a rug. Come enjoy the festivities, bid on unique auction items and help send our youth choir to Scotland!Purchase Tickets
